An immersive experience in the Ursuline Monastery Chapel
This 360-degree audio tour brings you on an intimate journey through the Ursuline Chapel. Sisters from the community generously share their experiences of this place of remembrance. It is through their words, music, silence and values that they present you with the keys for appreciating the history, architecture, decor, works of art and symbols that characterize this place.

Personalized tours

Personalized tours were developed to give visitors a flexible formula to explore a particular topic or get an overview of the history of the Ursulines, all in 30 minutes max! Visitors really appreciate this formula since they get the opportunity to meet with mediators and ask all their questions!

A heavenly chapel: guided tour

The oldest in situ decor in Quebec, the remarkable variety of people who have passed through the chapel over the years, the little details in the nuns’ chancel that produce a spectacular effect—it’s all covered on this tour that gives a rare look at a place normally reserved for nuns and their students.

Visitors will discover aspects of the chapel that are both seen and unseen, famous and not-so-famous. History, culture and art are at the heart of this tour.

Tour: A museum brimming with global treasures

This guided tour of the museum is perfect for visitors who don’t want to miss a thing! Accompanied by a cultural mediator, you will take a 30-minute tour of the museum’s permanent exhibitions with a small group. Tours are offered in French and English.

A walk through the Ursulines’ neighborhood

By taking a walk through the Ursulines’ neighborhood, you will see the lasting impact that our pioneers in education have made on the area.

The Ursulines have been a part of Old Quebec since their arrival in 1639. Discover the degree of influence they have had on the people around them as well as the relationships they have maintained with their fellow citizens since they arrived. You will see to what extent these women have been a part of the world, despite being cloistered for the vast majority of their time in Quebec City.

Concert by the Ensemble de musique sacrée de Québec

The Ensemble de musique sacrée de Québec will give a spring concert at the Ursuline Chapel. The choir will be accompanied by a pianist and a soloist on select pieces.
