Silverwork

Among the approximately 150 pieces of silverwork conserved by the Ursulines, several were produced before 1717, including this magnificent French-made monstrance. It is one of six pieces of silverwork dating prior to 1640 that can be found in Quebec. The collection also features objects forged by some of the greatest silversmiths in the history of Quebec, like this vessel for storing holy oils, made by Laurent Amyot.
