Household Objects

The extensive collection of household objects includes various elements—tableware, glassware, tools, clothes and so forth—that illustrate the day-to-day lives of the nuns since their arrival in New France, as well as the lives of their students over the years. This 18th-century earthenware water pitcher and candle lantern are two of the many household objects that the Ursulines saved.
