The painting <em>The Fathers of Mercy Redeeming the Prisoners<\/em>, attributed to J\u00e9r\u00f4me II Francken, is one of these officially recognized works. Several portraits are also part of the collection, including this one of Colonel Melchior-Alphonse de Salaberry, son of a Canadian hero and grandfather of an Ursuline nun.
